A serious injury ended Billie Eilish’s career as a dancer, but her vocal talent shone through in a soundtrack created by her brother for her dance class, and opened a new window of opportunity for her. The siblings began their music careers and achieved massive global fame after uploading their first song, Ocean Eyes.
Billie Eilish, a 19-year-old American singer songwriter who has already won five Grammy awards, opened up about her struggles with being in the spotlight from such a young age. Not having a physique typically expected of a celebrity, Eilish has to disassociate her mind from negative thoughts around her body when performing and not lose the joy and freedom of being herself by attempting to look good all the time. Eilish also believes that knowledge changes one’s opinions and feelings over time. Just because she is a public figure doesn’t mean she has to be perfect.
